IMC

The Instrument Meteorological Conditions IMC is an invaluable tool for each and every pilot. Whether you would like to do the full course of 15 hours, or just have a couple of taster sessions, then get in touch.

The controversy surrounding the IMC rating has encouraged hundreds of pilots to voice their opinions on the value of the rating - we are yet to see a negative response. The IMC rating enables you to fly with a far reduced weather minima - not only useful for bad weather flying but also for running in to unexpected bad weather on an otherwise good day.

Our motion simulator gives you a secure foundation of knowledge for less expense before you take to the air. You will gain a broader understanding of the instruments and learn how to carry out instrument approaches and deal with instrument failure.

Once you have the license you are free to take off with 1 mile visibility and 600ft cloud base - opening up a much wider range of flying days.
