Kindly installed by our club member Mike Richardson, we now have a new generation of flight simulator for you to use.
The simulator is installed with the latest Microsoft software giving you the sensations of a real flight. The satellite scenery ensures a wide variety of locations, with numerous different aircraft to fly. For practice on the RT side there is a voice recognition system in a simulated ATC environment.
The simulator is brilliant for the bad weather days that prevent you from doing 'real flying'. It is also a great tool for IMC practice. An hour with an instructor costs just £35 and will be a considerable help to the progression of your flying training.
You can book time in the simulator just as you would book a flight with an instructor. Just give us a call and we'll let you know the availability and book you in.
