Below is a list and brief description of the different flights that are available for you to choose from. All vouchers are valid for a whole year from the date of purchase and we fly everyday apart from a few days over Christmas time. So plenty of time to use them!
Piper PA28 – A four seater aircraft in which you can take a friend, which is included in the price – there are no extra costs at all.

Or for an extra special experience why not try one of our land-aways? Fly to another airfield for a cup of tea and soak up the ambience for a while. Fly both ways yourself, or take a friend and share the experience of being at the controls of the aircraft! Prices start from £215 and include destinations such as Old Sarum, the Isle of Wight and Goodwood, all with spectacular countryside and coastal views on route.
Microlight – Take to the skies in one of the ultralight aircraft from our ever expanding fleet. Thirty minutes will take you for a trip around the local area, sixty minutes will take you within reach of the coast and back to base.

Simulator – Combine a flight in the Microlight or Piper PA28 with a ‘flight’ on our motion simulator. Used for training you can choose any aircraft from a microlight to a Boeing 777! Get the most out of your time in the air by experiencing the sensations of flight and effects of the controls whilst still on the ground. Just £20 for a twenty minute experience.

Compton Abbas Airfield is ideally located on the top of hill on the border of Dorset and Wiltshire, and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Already at 800ft when you line up for departure on the runway, as soon as the wheels leave the ground the scenery unfolds dramatically beneath you. Only a short flight away from spectacular sights such as the Jurassic Coast, Stone Henge and the Isle of Wight, we couldn’t be better placed!
On the day of your flight - firstly you will have a chat with one of our qualified flying instructors and plan the route you would like to take; perhaps flying over your house. Once airborne you’ll have the opportunity to have a go at the controls and experience the unparalleled thrill of flying a light aircraft. Take a camera and capture the beautiful views from amongst the clouds. Once back on the ground you are presented with a Compton Abbas Certificate to commemorate the day. If you do get bitten by the flying bug, the lesson will count as the first hour in your pilots log book, and go towards your private pilots license (not as expensive as you may think!).
