French Connection day this year was a fantastic event. Last year saw just one aircraft battle through the appalling weather
conditions to see us – this year the weather was so fantastic that we had almost 100. There were free landings for any aircraft from France, with French owners, and French made or built, and half price landings for all others.
We had a few French style food options on the menu along with our usual French baguettes, all the staff kitted up in French themed attire, and some (sort of French!) bottles of wine as prizes for various competitions such as the ‘spot landing’ and the ‘furthest travelled’.
After such a fantastic event this year we will be making it even bigger and better next year…so keep your eyes peeled…
