As microlighting becomes ever more popular in the aviation world, so it seems do Compton Abbas Microlight Fly – In’s! We had free landings for all our light weight visitors (this apparently coming as quite a shock, with most assuming that we had a speech impediment and digging into their wallets for ‘three’ pounds!) and with the fast track food and drink system in full flow, we had 56 visitors in total. |
The spot landing competition at the 200m mark added some excitement to the day, being won by two young men who had come in on the off chance! They were chuffed with the Compton Abbas Polo shirt; a well deserved prize. Next year we’re planning to have more exciting Microlight activities….we’ll keep you posted! Thank you to everyone who came and supported us, we look forward to seeing you all again next year.
